Music at St. Elizabeth's

Music is a very important part of the worship and parish life of St. Elizabeth's.  There are three choirs and guest musicians are invited on special occasions.

 

Adult Choir

Rehearsals   -   Wednesdays   7:30 - 9:00 pm

The Adult Choir is directed by Peggie Howard and accompanied by organist Mary Lou Holt.  The Choir sings regularly at the 10:15 am service on Sundays.  They also sing for special services  when needed.

The Choir presents special music on Easter and Christmas.  They perform major choral works at various times during the year, including the Messiah Part I "sing-along" with chamber orchestra in December.

All parishioners (ages high school and older) are invited to join the choir.

 


St. Elizabeth's Adult Choir

Junior Choir

Rehearsals   -   Wednesdays  5:15 - 6:00 pm

The Junior Choir is directed by Peggie Howard and Bernadette Renfro accompanied by organist Mary Lou Holt.  The Junior Choir sings on at the 10:15 service on the 2nd Sunday of each month.

The Junior Choir presents special music on Easter (9:00 am) and Christmas (5:15 pm).

All parishioners in grades 1-8 are welcome to sing in the Junior Choir.

Cherub Choir

Rehearsals   -   Wednesdays  5:30 - 6:00 pm

The Cherub Choir is directed by Sandra Rowcliffe.  The Cherub Choir presents special music at Christmas, Easter, and Mother's Day.

All parishioners in grade Kindergarten or younger are welcome to sing in the Cherub Choir.
